Just Starting

Occupy has just started. It will grow. It will organize. It will evolve. It may change it's name - change it's tactics, prioritize/acquire strong goals, run candidates. Occupy is not done!

Starting to Evolve ?

Let us hope so, for many of us fellow Occupiers who don't have the leverage of numbers, progressive environments, or resources, that you are right. Many of us feel that the preservation, as well as the restoration of the democratic process is worth fighting for, that would be evolution. We need to take the power back from the rich elite and the corporatocracy a long with the lawlessness that crony capitalism brings. Occupy needs to clarify itself, and back fill it's message and support among all it's branches, there are issues and lives at stake.

There IS NO national OWS movement

There IS NO national OWS movement, this is what I have come to believe.  And, that makes sense:  How are groups that refuse to acknowledge their leaders ever going to get together in the many ways they should?  If one believes this would happen while you acknowledge no leaders, then one believes in magic.

The only reason there sometimes appears to be a national movement is that members of many groups converge at times to protest together (for example, Chicago, recently).  But, so very much is missed. Who is protesting the $14,000 a plate fund raisers?, for example.

If actions by brave leaders are not taken, the OWS movements will have no noticed effect on the elections in November (OR the one in Wisconsin in less than a week).  Leaders need to lead.  Regulars will see and like what they see and then a national movement may begin.

This site waits for a effective National Movement

This site, by the way, believes (in time -- perhaps years), an effective, real national Occupy Wall Street movement (singular) will form.  We will wait patiently and will always be ready to serve.
