As I look down the road and know that there are major elections in November (and some before), I can't help but keep asking myself: "When will people conclude that OCCUPY lacks vitality?". And, I cannot help but answer myself: "Certainly by November, unless the influence of Occupy is seen?". Am I likely incorrect about this, when I feel so certain this would be the time of judgment for Occupy? Am I wrong?
Five months is a very short time in such an arena.

The OWS non-leader leader
The OWS non-leader leader BLASTS Maher. Here is the title of his comment and the first couple sentences. Quoting: "On Bill Maher and the Betrayal of US Democracy"
Maher's attitude towards OWS also embodies the complete betrayal of the establishment "left" of every value they claim to believe in. Liberals are supposed to be above all supporters of civil liberties. ... (end quote)

I, myself, see Graeber as just plain silly. Major Clue: About the only thing he talks about is the bad police.

I am trying to light a fire
I am trying to light a fire under people who claim to want to work on projects such as those listed in the Agenda for the Consenting Governed, 2012. As you can see from the Agenda, everything is in place for the Occupy movement to take charge of this election year. All that is required is that the individual occupiers stop occupying and protesting and talking and take up one of the items on the Agenda as something they will do today. The Occupy movement has been treading water since November. Even the May 1 events and the protests in Chicago did nothing to move the movement forward. That's because the occupiers, for whatever reason, are not taking the essential, next step and going out to the American public and asking them whether they agree with the change the Occupy movement has identified as needed in this country. Until the occupiers do that, they will, indeed, appear to lack vitality, because their energy needs to rekindled by the breath of enthusiasm from finding people that will say they agree with Occupy and are ready for change.

The US public has been deluded into thinking we need more rich people. All that OWS can do is adopt a counter-culture that forces change.
